Christianity was not intended to be a solitary religion (Hebrews 10:24-25).
Although every relationship with Jesus is personal, fellowship and friendship with other Christians and a church body helps nurture and deepen an individual’s faith. Formalizing your affiliation with First Parish follows the Biblical, God-given example of commitment to a local church. Members strengthen the Church, and in turn, those members and the community at large, are blessed.
As a congregational church, members of First Parish also vote on important issues and decisions, and can serve on all church boards and ministries.
