Teen Alpha
Teen Alpha is a FREE 9-week series designed for teens (ages 13–18) to explore the basics of the Christian faith through engaging videos and open discussions. Each session includes:
When: February 26 – April 23, 2025 (Wednesdays, 6:00–7:30 PM)
Where: First Parish Congregational Church, 1 Church St, Wakefield, MA (Lower Level)Leaders: Sam Carpenter, Dakota Ware, Ken Hodgson
- Dinner: We start with food, because it’s a great way to encourage community and get to know each other. We will enjoy a meal together to start the session.
- Talk: The talks are designed to engage and inspire conversation. Generally thirty minutes long, these videos explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus? and How can we have faith?
- Discussion: Probably the most important part of any Teen Alpha: the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and simply discuss it in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything. And there’s nothing you can’t say. It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.
Join us to explore life’s big questions in a safe and supportive environment. Check out what Teen Alpha is all about!
Contact: Church office for more information.
