Connected: To and Through Christ
This is a space for youth to take time away from the demands of a busy world and to re-connect and re-charge with peers and with God. Our youth are typical teens and pre-teens: they dance, play games, and goof around together, and also engage in meaningful conversations about life’s big questions. Through it all they gain deeper understanding about themselves, their goals and motivations, and God’s purpose for them through life’s challenges and triumphs – all in the context of love and support.
Times
Youth Group meets Thursdays from 6:30-8:00pm in our upper level youth room and is for students in grades 6-12.
On Sundays, high school teens generally attend our regular church services to enjoy worship and hear the pastor’s message. Grades 6-8 are welcome to attend Children’s Chapel, where they will join an all grades classroom (K-8) for lessons and activities offered during the sermon.
First Parish also sends its youth for a “Deep Freeze” weekend away together at Camp Berea in Hebron, NH every winter.
